Let's Get Acquainted
I have always enjoyed telling others about my adventures & sharing bits & pieces through social media. However, I am inspired to start a blog where I can help inspire others to make their travel dreams a reality. Through my story & adventures as a single woman traveling in my 20s and now 30s, I believe I can support others with advice and tips on traveling solo and budget friendly.
My story really began from when I was in the womb. Conceived in California, born a sassy Sagittarian in Washington State, and then moved between Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, and California before 3rd grade. Eventually I ended up back in the Pacific Northwest to start off my 3rd grade year. We bounced between multiple homes in Oregon & Washington between 3rd grade and the summer before my 11th grade year. Visiting my family often in Southern California.
Then I decided to go on a year long exchange to Mumbai, India my 11th grade year. While I was in India my family moved back to another town in Oregon where I resided until the pandemic hit.
Most would say the pandemic paused life for them. For my friend & I it gave us an affordable time to try a couple new towns. So we moved to San Diego, California for 9 1/2 months and then Denver, Colorado for 5 1/2 months. But the pandemic made it difficult to make new friends, causing us to be extra home sick, and we ended up back in the Pacific Northwest where I currently reside.
This time in a different career. When I left Denver I left my 14 year corporate job that I hated. I knew what would truly make me happy. I started a business as a Travel Agent and called my business Passport to Living Blissfully, because truly this is what I want my business to do for my clients… Live Blissfully! I wanted to take working in the travel industry a step further, because working from home is not enough for me. So I decided to embrace what I learned at the International Air & Hospitality Academy where I recieved my diploma in 2012 for Airline Travel Specialist, and started working as a ramp agent for Alaska Airlines.
As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. A community where we can spread positivity and the joy for travel. My hope in creating this website is that you will find encouragement and empowerment to make your travel dreams a reality no matter what your circumstance is.
