Pay:
The commissions vary depending on the company you book through, but I have planned a lot of Hawaii & Mexico trips where I got paid out $400-$500 for one trip and that was before I started charging a $50 booking fee. You can choose to charge a booking fee or just make the commissions. So definitely good money if you are putting in and doing the work.
Training & certification:
We have a great university training program that goes over all the basics of booking travel. It’s 10 hours to complete then you are certified to register with travel companies. We also have brand specific trainings so you can learn their unique booking system and process to become expert and efficient. Reps for the different partner companies will get on weekly and do presentations, although this is optional it's a great opportunity to learn about perks with that partner and ask live questions to the rep. Then of course you have your mentor and the community who are also there to help assist you and guide you along the way.

Start-up costs:
There is a one-time enrollment fee to become a certified travel advisor. Just like a relator or insurance agent, you are dealing with a large amount of someone's money and personal information which requires licensing cost. You could spend thousands to go to college and get a degree and then start your own agency with no liability support or you could work with a host agency that is much cheaper and mitigates risk.
Enrollment fee
- The one-time enrollment fee to become an agency certified travel advisor is $179.99.
Monthly fees
- Our monthly fee is $39.95 for administration and support costs.
Profit guarantee
- The agency offers a Profit Guarantee for home-based advisors. If an advisor doesn't earn more in their first year than they paid in fees, the agency will refund the difference.
30 Day money back guarantee
- If you get through training and try the business for a month and decide it is not for you, the agency will refund you.

Booking with us does not cost your travelers anything extra.
No matter where a trip is booked, the commission is built into the public price, whether the travel is booked through an Advisor or directly with the supplier. Typically, commissions from suppliers range from 10% to 28% of the travel purchase.

My story getting started!
For me being the constant traveler that I am, being a travel agent just made sense. I was just putting feelers out there for a possible group trip destination to my dream Airbnb on Facebook and then ended planning the whole trip and had the $3000 Airbnb deposit paid in 2 days with a fully booked group of 13 ladies I have never met. I was approached by a travel agent in my Facebook messages who was one of the ladies going on this trip and asked if I was a travel agent. It was something I was always interested in doing but I never knew where to start. When she told me the trip, I had just planned so effortlessly in 2 days could have made me over $1000, I was definitely interested.
